and clear. temperatures are cold everywhere. 54 degrees in nevada. you're only at 46 in sonoma. 53 in livermore. you see spotty showers. this is mostly we're anticipating. we get warmer as the sun is out. we have one more batch of wet weather to get through as we head throughout the next couple of hours. this area will arrive in san francisco in 52 minutes. clouds will darken up and we'll get rain. it will move through quickly. highs today in the 50s. 57 in livermore, 56 in fremont and 57 degrees in redwood city. so it's time out what we're expecting in terms of showers. 5:00 p.m. still getting a little bit of lingering activity. we'll see a lot of improvement overnight. by tomorrow morning, 4:00 a.m., our last showers come through. we'll clear out of here completely at 9:00 a.m. saturday. then the cold arrives for sunday. i'm expecting widespread frost all across the bay area. look at the numbers. hard to believe. we were just in record territory in the forecasting lows in the low 30s, possibly the upper 20s in the coldest cities as we wake up on sunday. so you want to keep that i

an early winter to the sierra nevada. just in time for the thanksgiving holiday. >> of the group of lake tahoe area ski resorts of already open and more are expected to follow suit. those that are open are boreal, heavenly, kirkwood, north star and, sqwaw valley. melrose place opened on wednesday. sierra at tahoe on thursday. alpine meadows and towel donner on december 7th. >> 53 out the door in mountain view. half moon bay coming in at 55 degrees. 56 for powell. as we take the numbers and to the afternoon expect '60s a bit warmer and drier than what we saw this weekend. again we do have a storm system to our north. i do not think it will impact the bay area today. milpitas coming in at 65. 67 for palo alto. similar conditions to the east bank. mid-60's for antioch, livermore, 64 in san leandro. mostly sunny skies for the east bay shoreline. wins ohio wisconsin and nevada, those are his fire wall states. right now virginia the lead by a by governor romney is a pretty healthy lead. northern virginia is still yet to come and and there's so voting in northern virginia. this could be a long night. floor that is so close -- florida we're trying to figure out which counties are outstanding because that could make a difference. if i'm a democrat or republican thinking about 2016 i am definitely thinking having a latino to as the president or vice presidential candidate and they could be the difference and this campaign. >> a factor will allow people already know but if obama wins ohio history is on his side. no republican has won the white house without winning ohio. >> why the county is is traditionally determine which way those he has it obama has a slight lead there. >> it is getting interesting. >> and san francisco i am at the democratic headquarters and you can see all the people all the volunteers who showed up to put in their hand. i will go inside because inside this room we are talking about hundreds of peopl
